The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) today announced the Divisional Stars of the Week for the week ending November 19, 2017. The divisional stars of the week is an award given each week of the regular season to the top performing players in each of the eight divisions of the NA3HL as nominated by their head coaches.
Central Division Star of the Week: Tristan Slot, Forward, Wausau RiverWolves
The Wausau RiverWolves got their first wins in the NA3HL this past weekend and no one was a bigger catalyst for their offense than Tristan Slot. The Kaukauna, Wisconsin native scored four goals, two in each game, while tacking on five assists. Slot contributed on every single RiverWolves goal on Friday night as the club picked up their first win, a 6-0 shutout over Evansville. Slot now has 12 points on the season and was a plus-7 for the weekend.
“I am extremely elated for Tristan. He has been putting in the work on and off the ice and the hard work is paying off. He’s trusting the process and definitely deserves the recognition,” stated Head Coach Tim Brownell.
